£120 unframed

"This etching was drawn onto a copper plate during the summer months on a trip to West Cork, Ireland. The imagery has many references to William Blake's poetry as I was reading this at the time. The etching was originally titled 'Joy & Woe areWoven fine' - a line from William Blake. Then I realised that there was not very much woe there, although there is plenty ofemotion to do with travel, life by the sea and music - any tears are tears of joy!"
