The Long Loop at Nagshead I was inspired by a walk in the Nagshead Nature Reserve in Parkend in November 2021 with my partner and young son. November is my favourite time to visit the Forest of Dean as the trees put on their most spectacular display of colours. On the day when I took the photograph that I worked from it was misty and atmospheric, the path disappeared in the lingering fog and seemed to emphasise the slanting horizon line.
