“My intention is to convey an emotional response to the land and seascape. I am particularly drawn towards the reflective quality of water. I am inspired by my travels, particularly the undulating landscapes of the Cotswolds where I live, Scotland and its icy lochs and mountains, Cornwall and Wales and the Pembrokeshire coast are all places I love. I incorporate this inspiration with walking in the UK and further afield in Europe. The cold greys and mists of Norway, the vineyards of Portugal and the vibrant colours of the sea while walking along the Catalan coasts have all been inspirational. Then the process of creating the image begins….”
