Paddy Robinson 3 Tents

 

Paddy Robinson studied at Brighton Art School in the 1960s, and went on to a career as a freelance textile designer and lecturer. Now a full time painter, she makes figurative works that originate purely from her imagination, in an illustrative and richly patterned style that reflects her history in printed textile design. Paddy’s interest in the natural world, symbolic art, Jungian philosophy and dreams, inspire paintings which are deliberately complex and mysterious, in order to invite the viewer to make their own connections with her imagery and ideas. She lives and works at her studio on the Welsh border.
