Philippa C Thomashas a background in illustration and theatre design. Her printing practise is based on observational drawing in the landscape and a process of material exploration in the studio. Having worked on several collaborative projects, she feels the value of working collectively and seeks ways to do that in print.
This print is inspired by sketches done on my lunch breaks of people sunbathing beneath the Scotts Pine trees in the park in Portree on The Isle of Skye.
