Sharon Harvey L`Uiveto (The Olive Grove)
Sharon studied at Winchester School of Art, graduating with a First-Class Honours degree in Fine Art. Exhibiting widely throughout the UK, Sharon is represented by London based Artiq, and several commercial Galleries including her own, The Sanctuary Gallery, in Gloucestershire. In addition to her commercial painting practice Sharon has taught both adults at the University of Southampton and secondary school pupils both in life drawing and contemporary art history. Sharon has been an associate member of CAS focussing on experimental and community projects and has also collaborated and acted as a visual recorder through drawing on a community mental health project in the Forest of Dean. Sharon opened The Sanctuary Gallery, a new contemporary art gallery to represent other Artists and featuring painting, print, ceramics , jewellery and textiles in beautiful Newnham-on-Severn in 2022

Whilst I am predominantly a Landscape Painter, I have always had a fascination with Floriography or the language of flowers. I like hidden meanings that possibly only I will know. The paintings in this collection capture many moods and personal memories but I hope the viewer experiences the same fizzy feeling of pure joy that you get when you receive an unexpected bouquet from someone who cares about you.
