Ed Woolley

After training in illustration at Southampton Institute Ed began to focus on local photography and painting, taking inspiration from the dramatic landscape of South Wales. Ed walks frequently around the valleys local to him and along the Gwent levels with its sea views across the Severn Estuary. Working in Oils,  he strives to capture the tranquility or turbulence of the skies and the bright colours of the landscape. Beyond Wales Ed paints scenes from his travels, emphasising street perspectives and scenes of everyday life.
