Professional artist and designer-maker Jayne Tricker is passionate about ceramics. She has been hand-building clay vessels for 30 years. Tricker combines colour and form with intuition and a sense of the spiritual, to create works in clay, wood, metal and paint. Aiming for both balance and beauty, she describes her work as ‘seeking the miracle in the madness of everyday life’.

Her beautiful barrel-fired ceramics have been exhibited widely including both Battersea Art Fair and the Fresh Art Fair in Cheltenham and Ascot racecourses and in Potters Bristol.  Her work is currently shown at Silson contemporary gallery, Harrogate  and Sculpture by the lakes, Dorset. Her ceramics were at Potfest Compton Verney, Celebrating Ceramics, Waterperry Gardens and Craft Festival, Cheltenham in 2023. Her work is also held in private collections across the UK, USA, Europe and Canada and has been featured in The Times and Cotswold Life editorials
