Jenny Fermor
Devon born artist Jenny Fermore studied Fine Art at Gloucestershire University and now lives and works in Madrid, Spain. Combining observed shapes and a spontaneous response to her subject, she paints sun-soaked rural landscapes and urban scenes which convey the light and warmth of the Mediterranean climate. In a richly toned palette, she seeks out the geometric shapes formed by sunlight and shadow, building her works around contrast and the values of light and dark.
