Ceramicist Lucy Burley makes vibrant works that explore a harmonious balance of colour and form. Beginning with white earthenware clay thrown on the wheel, she finishes her bottles, vases and jugs with a semi-matt glaze, combined with oxides and stains in a beautiful spectrum of colours that accentuate the simple and beautiful shape of each piece.
Lucy graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 1996 with a BA(Hons) in Ceramics.
Her work is stocked in over 20 galleries throughout the UK, and she has work in many private collections around the world. In addition Lucys work has featured in Ceramic Review, Ideal Home Magazine, Good Homes, House Beautiful, Huffington Post, YOU Magazine, Coast, The Independent on Sunday, Country Homes and Interiors and The Daily Mail.
